About Us

What daytrip.paris is

An independent guide to day trips from Paris: Versailles, Giverny, Mont-Saint-Michel, the Loire chateaux, Champagne, Normandy and the smaller towns an hour or two from the city. We are not a tour operator, we are not connected to any attraction or transport company, and we do not sell tickets ourselves.

daytrip.paris is published by Travel Ticket Box, a small media company running a network of independent attraction and city guides.

Each guide answers the questions that decide a day out: how to get there and back, how long the trip really takes, what to book ahead, and when a guided tour beats doing it on your own.

How we check the facts

Primary sources first. Train times come from SNCF and the regional operators, opening hours and rules from the venues themselves, tour details from the partner product pages.

Prices are "from" figures. Partner prices change by date and by option; the price at checkout is the one that applies.

Perishable facts are rechecked. Works, closures and seasonal timetables are rechecked before every update.

How daytrip.paris makes money

Affiliate commission. When you book a ticket or a tour through a partner link on this site, the partner pays us a percentage.

It does not change your price, and partners have no say in what we write. Full detail on the affiliate disclosure page.
